Notre Dame is now 11 days away from kicking off the 2025 season against the Miami Hurricanes down in Hard Rock Stadium. The Irish will be relying on some impact players to get them through the home opener as well as getting them back to another run at the National Championship.

Bill Connelly of ESPN has released his SP+ model projection for what happens between Notre Dame and Miami in the season opener.

Notre Dame football will need some of their offensive players to step up this fall, and our staff makes their best guess at who they are.

Two of the more inexperienced players heading into 2024 was true freshman left tackle Anthonie Knapp and redshirt sophomore right tackle Aamil Wagner. After a year of playing on some of the biggest stages in college football, offensive line coach Joe Rudolph is confident their experience will translate into growth.

Since that decision was made back on June 10th, Notre Dame has been keeping close contact. They aren’t the only school either, including Miami who offered Vallejo in July. While the Texas native is currently firm in his commitment, he hasn’t told the Irish staff to stop reaching out, so he’s still listening at least.
