A man has been charged with kidnapping and murder in the disappearance of Miranda Corsette, whose body was dumped in a trash bin, St. Petersburg police said.

St. Petersburg police detectives said the remains of 16-year-old Miranda Corsette were found in a dumpster after she was reported missing last month.

Florida teen Miranda Corsette was lured by 35-year-old Steven Gress through a social media app and later kidnapped. Investigators say she was beaten, murdered, and dismembered before her remains were discarded in a dumpster.
