Joe Mixon just got fined by the NFL for something a former player tweeted following Saturday’s loss in Kansas City.

The NFL has fined Texans RB Joe Mixon $25,000 for criticizing the officiating following Houston’s playoff loss to the Chiefs, per ESPN’s DJ Bien-Aime. Pro Football Talk reports the NFL initially cited a quote that was incorrectly attributed to Mixon.

Helm should certainly be viewed as one of the best tight end prospects in the 2025 draft class. He served a vital role in Texas' offense throughout the 2024 season, posting seven touchdowns and 786 yards on 60 receptions.

According to OverTheCap.com, the Houston Texans are not expected to receive any comp picks after retooling the roster in free agency. Despite the team’s loss of defensive end Jonathan Greenard and linebacker Blake Cashman, Houston canceled out the comp picks by signing defensive end Danielle Hunter and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair.

One of the biggest needs heading into the offseason that was prevalent in the team's divisional round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs was the offensive line. Quarterback CJ Stroud was sacked a total of eight times in the contest, along with 52 sacks the regular season, which was the second most behind Chicago Bears' Caleb Williams.
