CINCINNATI, Ohio (WJW) — One lucky Ohio Lottery player got the numbers right to win a Rolling Cash 5 jackpot worth more than $200,000. According to Ohio Lottery documents, the man-pick ticket was purchased at Murray Bros. Old Time Store in Cincinnati ahead of the Wednesday, Jan. 8 drawing.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — There was no overall winner in the Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, Powerball drawing, allowing the jackpot to increase to $220 million for the drawing on Monday, Jan. 6. Saturday’s numbers are 26-32-43-54-56 Powerball 24 Power Play 2x.

An Ohio man was in the middle of scratching off a winning lottery ticket when his wife made him pause to eat lunch. Thinking the ticket was going to be worth $1,000, she told lottery officials that she wanted her husband to eat and dream about what they would do with a big lottery win.

According to the Ohio Lottery, someone won $50,000 in the Ohio Lottery’s Billion scratch-off. The ticket was sold at Conroy’s North at 3990 Belmont Avenue in Liberty Township. After taxes are taken out, the winner will take home approximately $36,000.

Saturday’s Classic Lotto jackpot is $1.5 million, while the Friday, Jan. 3 Mega Millions prize is $42 million.

A $1 million-winning Powerball ticket was sold in Ohio this week. The winning ticket was sold at the Conneaut Clark Station in Conneaut, which is in Ashtabula County. The ticket matched all five winning numbers from Wednesday’s drawing but did not match the Powerball number.

No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in Wednesday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing to $240 million. Two tickets were sold matching five numbers but not the Powerball in Indiana and Ohio and are worth $1 million each.
