Officers found 37-year-old Jeremiah McKenzie dead in a travel trailer near Southeast 84th Avenue and Insley Street last week. The medical examiner said he was shot. Police have not publicly identified any suspects.

Portland police officers responded at about 9 p.m. on Feb. 20 to Southeast 84th Avenue and Insley Street after receiving a report that paramedics at the scene found a man dead in a trailer. Homicide detectives also responded to investigate.

Portland police say a man who was walking in the street in Portland Sunday night was hit and killed by a driver. It's unclear if the victim was crossing the road or walking alongside it. Police have not identified either the driver or the victim but say the driver is not facing any charges stemming from the incident.
