The Indiana Fever have dealt with injury concerns throughout the season, and they were dealt another blow Tuesday.

The team, which entered the 2025 WNBA season with serious championship aspirations, suffered yet another loss against the Washington Mystics on Friday night — marking their fourth loss in the last five games.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham will miss the remainder of the season due to the right knee injury she sustained in Sunday's game against the Connecticut Sun, the team announced. Cunningham tore her MCL, per the Indianapolis Star's Chloe Peterson, and the organization said it expects her to make a full recovery.
