Sepp Straka is trying to channel his Michael Jordan and battle flu-like symptoms while trying to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Sepp Straka went from a four-shot lead early Saturday to trailing by two, but a furious rally allowed him to regain the lead in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The weather brought back romantic images of the old “Crosby Clambake,” with a cold wind whipping off the Pacific Ocean and light rain, generally miserable weather for golf except at Pebble Beach — at least for those watching.

Sepp Straka got most of his work done before the weather started to turn Friday in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, posting another 7-under 65 for a three-shot lead that left Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler and everyone having to chase him.

Straka fired a second straight 7-under 65, this time at Pebble Beach Golf Links, to take a three-shot lead. Straka benefitted from about 14 holes in little to no wind, while other challengers, including Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler, teed off later and spent more time in the tougher conditions.
