A new leak suggests that the material that is used in the next Pro iPhones will be a significant departure from recent years.

The tech giant is fast approaching its annual iPhone announcement event, which should take place in early September, if previous years are any precedent. Apple hasn't officially announced the date and time for the event, or even acknowledged its existence, but we all know it's going to happen.

The iPhone 17 is reportedly rumored to be announced in September, meaning Californians may be just weeks away from their next upgrade. Last year, Apple introduced its iPhone 16 range on Sept. 9, with the new phones ready for pre-order later that week.
