Giants, Skattebo

The New York Giants will be without their leading rusher moving forward, as rookie running back Cam Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle in Week 8, all but officially knocking him out for the remainder of the 2025 season.
In addition to Skattebo, the NFL also fined running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. $5,731 for "unnecessary roughness," alleging "use of the helmet" early in the first quarter. The play in question was a two-yard run on first-and-10 and, like Skattebo, did not result in a penalty on the field. For Tracy, it was his first fine of the season.
Rookie Cam Skattebo, a former Arizona State football standout, suffered a severe ankle injury that required hospitalization and eventual surgery.
NFL fans are furious after the refs seemed to miss a hip-drop tackle penalty against Zack Baun on Cam Skattebo.
