After playing a defensive masterpiece in the Golden State Warriors’ huge comeback OT victory over the Denver Nuggets Thursday night, Draymond Green’s daughter Cash, 5, was not impressed. Instead, she scolded Green after the game and said “Daddy you were ignoring me over there.”

The Golden State Warriors have won four championships during their current run with Steve Kerr as head coach, Stephen Curry the superstar and others including Klay Thompson and Draymond Green in co-starring roles.

During the summer of 2024, the Golden State Warriors were rumored to have interest in adding Lauri Markkanen to the roster. Markkanen would have provided size, shooting and rebounding, all areas that Golden State had struggled with in prior years.

Draymond Green was seemingly not on board with the Golden State Warriors trading for Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen.

However, no trade ever came to light, and according to ESPN's Anthony Slater, veteran Draymond Green played a role in that. According to Slater, Green told Mike Dunleavy and Joe Lacob not to trade for Markkanen because of what Golden State would have had to give up.
