Efton Chism didn't practice with the Patriots in Foxboro on Tuesday, as the team held its second and final practice ahead of Thursday night's preseason finale against the New York Giants.
There have been plenty of hyped up preseason stars who turned into duds for the Patriots. Don't count on Efton Chism III falling into that category.
As the Patriots have a 19-year streak of an undrafted rookie making their 53-man roster on cutdown day, Chism is likely making the strongest case to help extend the streak to two decades. He certainly has the support of at least one player who helped contribute to that streak.

Efton Chism continued his strong push to make Patriots roster with another big preseason showing
Undrafted rookie receiver Efton Chism continued his strong push to make the New England Patriots on Saturday with another solid effort in the team's preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Rookie wide receiver Efton Chism has been one of the stars of the New England Patriots’ preseason campaign so far.
Patriots executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf said Chism comes to the facility at 5 a.m. to meet with wide receivers coach Todd Downing. Chism also previously said he spends time with veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins late after practice to continue going through the playbook.
Chism has taken the Patriots by a storm these past couple of weeks, showing out in practice and in the team’s two preseason games.
