Jose Fernandez was named the new coach of the WNBA’s Dallas Wings on Monday after spending the past 25 seasons leading the women’s team at the University of South Florida.

"Jose is one of the most respected veteran coaches in women’s basketball," said Dallas Wings Executive Vice President and General Manager Curt Miller.
