It is officially mock draft season! Earlier today NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah released his Mock Draft 1.0 for the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. With the draft order almost completely set, the Chiefs currently sit at 32nd pick as they inch closer to the coveted 3-peat.

In the latest mock from our Christian D’Andrea — a top-five mini-mock — he had the Browns taking Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders at quarterback. But in Mel Kiper Jr.’s first mock of the year for ESPN, he had Sanders’ teammate Travis Hunter going to Cleveland and Sanders going to the New York Giants at No. 3.

Fortunately, ESPN's Mel Kiper foresees the Chargers getting some help at that spot in the 2025 NFL draft. According to Kiper, the Chargers are projected to select Michigan Wolverines tight end Colston Loveland with the No. 22 pick in the draft this April. Here's what Kiper had to say about the pick:

NFL Draft will be here before we know it and there are a few Michigan football players who have a shot to become first-round draft selections. Most notably, both defensive tackle Mason Graham and cornerback Will Johnson are potential top-10 picks while tight end Colston Loveland and defensive tackle Kenneth Grant are first-round hopefuls.
