NFL insiders believe the Jacksonville Jaguars "overpaid" for the chance to select cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter in the 2025 draft, according to NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah.

The Jaguars and Browns agreed to terms of the trade 17 days before the NFL Draft, though both sides kept it quiet until Thursday.

Of their original set, the only pick Denver actually used was No. 20 on Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron. The Broncos actually considered trading back from there, too, Paton said Thursday night, to take a running back (Ohio State’s TreVeyon Henderson, sources said) later in the first round.
