The Chicago Bears have been quite active in free agency, addressing the offensive and defensive lines with some big-name signings. But they've also addressed depth at skill positions, including with the recent signing of wider receiver Olamide Zaccheaus to a one-year deal.

Zaccheaus played alongside two of the newest Bears, Drew Dalman and Grady Jarrett in Atlanta. His quarterback for the first three years of his career was Matt Ryan, who went to Boston College with Bears GM Ryan Poles and remains one of his good friends.

That included the additions of guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson (via trade), center Drew Dalman, defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo, tight end Durham Smythe and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus, as well as some key re-signings of in-house free agents.

The Chicago Bears have signed another former Atlanta Falcons player in free agency, agreeing to terms with veteran wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus. The former undrafted free agent out of Virginia spent his first four NFL seasons with the Falcons. While he was never a star, Zaccheaus improved his statistical production each year in Atlanta.

After going all-in on their offense in 2024, the Bears are taking a more measured approach in 2025. While the organization won’t steal headlines with their latest move, they’re still adding an experienced wide receiver coming off a career season.
