Veteran punter Riley Dixon is on the move in free agency. Dixon has agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Buccaneers, according to multiple reports. The 31-year-old Dixon originally entered the NFL as a 2016 seventh-round draft pick of the Broncos.

After cycling through three different punters in 2024, the Buccaneers have found stability at the position with 10th-year veteran Riley Dixon, most recently of the Denver Broncos

The Buccaneers are signing former Broncos punter Riley Dixon to a two-year deal worth $6MM, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Dixon’s $3MM APY is tied for third-highest among all punters. After rotating between three punters in 2024, Tampa Bay was willing to pay up for some stability on special teams.

The Denver Broncos will have to comb over the punter market this offseason as Riley Dixon has taken a free-agent deal elsewhere.

Dixon, 31, originally entered the league as a seventh-round pick out of Syracuse with the Broncos in 2016. After spending the first two years of his career in Denver, he had stints with the New York Giants (2018-2021) and Los Angeles Rams (2022) before returning to the Broncos in 2023.

The Broncos are looking for a punter and former Colorado State star Ryan Stonehouse could be an option. Free agent Riley Dixon on Tuesday morning agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal with Tampa Bay after spending the past two seasons with Denver.
