Guinness World Records have confirmed that the cheese was sold to the owner of restaurant El Llagar de Colloto after a bidding war.

At a media availability on June 30th, Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins mentioned the club’s interest in adding a right-handed bat ahead of the July 31st trade deadline.
