When the final AP Poll comes out at the end of the season, the Texas football team will be still be ranked No. 1 in the country. The Longhorns will lift the national championship trophy at the end of the year.
With the announcement of Ohio State's quarterback, one Texas Longhorns player had an interesting reaction. As sophomore linebacker Colin Simmons posted a photo of Sayin on his Instagram story shortly after Sayin was named the Buckeyes' starting quarterback.
Penn State, ranked second in The Associated Press preseason Top 25, had three players selected to the first team of the preseason AP All-America team announced Monday. Texas, the preseason No. 1, also placed three players on the first team.
Arch Manning has commented on remarks that his grandfather, Archie, has made about the Texas quarterback's future plans.
