Former City Hall adviser Winnie Greco allegedly handed journalist Katie Honan cash stuffed into a potato chip bag​.

In a statement to The City, Adams campaign spokesman Todd Shapiro said that the mayor had no knowledge of Greco’s actions. “We are shocked by these reports,” Shapiro said. “Winnie Greco holds no position in this campaign and has been suspended from all volunteer campaign-related activities.”

Winnie Greco, who resigned from City Hall amid controversy, gave a journalist cash stuffed into an empty bag of sour cream and onion potato chips.
