This may be going off on a tangent, but Zoro has the stoic badass down to a science. Now we have Law who fits this description AND Jinbe, and this is all within the same crew/alliance.

Feb 8, 2022 · Conquers coating - Luffy seems to be pretty ok at it however we do know from Kaido it isn't perfect. Zoro hasn't shown to be able to draw it out on his yet. Armament haki - Some people say Zoro has advanced armament but it doesn't change much considering internal destruction was stated to be better that the advanced armament people think Zoro has.

For some reason, there's really only speculation as to why, Viz decided to go with Zolo (they originally had him as Zoro in the first editions of the first volume) as the name.
