Dec 29, 2023 · I checked ARK Investment website for their social media groups and there is no mention of such ARK INVEST VIP GROUP on WhatsApp authorized by ARK. They have warned of similar scammers impersonating they are affiliated with ARK. Will Scherer has linked in profile claiming he works for ARK which seems to be incorrect.

The ad from Cathie Wood takes you to a WhatsApp page group called “U.S. Stock Investment ##” where Cathie wood’s assistant will give you stock recommendations and eventually ask you to do mid term investment on a Hong Kong penny stock. They claim that this stock will give 300% returns which is a lie. Their scheme is “pump and dump”.

To be sure, the market comeback staged by many of ARKK’s tech-focused holdings surprised many, highlighting the perils of trying to forecast performance.

The ARK funds are meant to be rebalanced into/out of periodically anyway. Core/satellite strategy and no more than 10% of your portfolio should be the ARK fund. That’s literally the strategy the ARK team has recommended since they began. You do that and you beat the index basically every year by a small percentage.

They sent me to a site named BMClub and tried to get me to download the "app" called BMuift. They have at least 10 so called admins and the leader is named Yassine and his "helper" is named Beth.
