The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professionals. The Doctor of Pharmacy program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Health Sciences, along with the Department of Pharmaceutical and Environmental Health Sciences, offers courses leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy degree.

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) offers an early assurance program known as the TigerRx Advantage Program. Students admitted to TSU who have completed the pre-pharmacy prerequisites will receive acceptance into the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program if certain criteria are met.
