May 12, 2023 · Leon carried the Oilers in the first round when McDavid didn’t do much. He is severely underpaid right now and will be asking for $15 million+ in 2 years. I doubt Edmonton will be wanting to pay 2 players over $30 million. One of them will be gone. I think it will be Draisaitl. Draisaitl can carry his own team and make his own mark.
