The Cheyenne Police Department is releasing its annual report for 2023, an overview of the department's activity over the last year. Officers responded to 75,965 total calls for service. The number of calls follows an upward trend that began in 2020 when officers responded to 69,367 calls. Analyzing crime trends year-over-year helps the CPD develop strategies for training, allocating resources, and providing community education and engagement. “I am very proud of our team’s work over the past ye
