San Marcos police are searching for suspects in a deadly shooting that happened on The Square near Hopkins Street Saturday night (11/1). On Monday (11/3), Police Chief Stan Standridge gave an update, saying a suspect vehicle was found. One person was killed and two others were injured. One person is dead after a shooting in Cedar Park that involved a police officer Sunday night (11/2). Police said the shooting happened near South Lakeline Boulevard and Fall Creek Drive. Police Chief Mike Harmon said after a stabbing at TopSpin, a bar on South Lakeline, officers tracked down the suspect. After a short vehicle chase, the suspect pulled out a gun. Officers shot the suspect and killed them, police said. | KXAN News
