Today, hundreds of thousands of people joined the funeral procession for R’ Chaim Kanievsky ZT”L. MDA Teams provided medical cover to the event and treated patients with minor injuries, faints and dehydration. 15 people were conveyed to hospital. MDA used dozens of MICUs, ambulances, medicycles, buses, as well as 50 teams on foot. We are proud to deploy staff and resources to help facilitate the funeral of a well respected figure in Israel. MDA teams remain in the area until the crowds disperse.
