The family involved in this incident did everything they could to protect their home before the attack by putting up 6' fencing around the property, but the mountain lion appeared to have found another way in. WATCH: A mountain lion was spotted exploring Mt. Lemmon by a trail-cam recently. Arizona Game and Fish Department Tucson says "this sighting is routine and doesn’t require any action" by AZGF and hikers should be aware that mountain lions AND bears are up there.
