The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, also known as the Artemision, was a grand structure dedicated to the goddess Artemis, dating back to around 550 BCE during the Archaic period. It was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The temple underwent several reconstructions due to destruction by fire and other events, with its most famous version completed circa 323 BCE.
